Just a few weeks ago, I decided to join Fling. Being new to the New England area, Scott and I are in need of new friends. Since I kept seeing Fling advertised everywhere including here on my site I thought I would give it a go. If not a new playmate, at least possibly some open minded friends. What could it hurt. I must say from the moment I signed up on Fling as Purrvette I had tons and tons of friend requests and emails.
As you can see from my post Dd And The Art Of Online Chat I am pretty picky about who I respond to and what I like. Even with all the rules I have in place, I have still met some really great people on Fling that I am looking forward to meeting in the future. Of course, I have taken some time to get to know them online first before even thinking about running off to meet them. A lot of the guys I hear from want to meet immediately. They figure a cock picture and a message stating Wow, youve got a great ass warrants my attention and grants them an opportunity to meet. Sorry, it takes more personality than that and a few good weeks of getting to know each other is nice too. Scott and I have some good laughs with some of the I have, but well save that for a different post lol.
I decided to ask a few of the guys that I talk to regularly a few questions about Fling, since they have been on there longer than I have. Of course, the names have been changed since I dont want any other girls scamming on my Fling toys!
Dd: What made you choose Fling?
Flinger1: I think it was advertised on myspace if I remember correctly. I tried match and eharmony and the girls chosen were not my type at all. I wasnt lookin for my soul mate just make some new fun friends and see what happens.
Dd: How long have you been on Fling?
Flinger1: Dec 3rd 2006 I joined.
Dd: What other adult personals have you used if any?
Flinger1: Checked fubar.do you likeintimate encounter or sum shit like that.ashley madisonall want money for almost every movement you make on it. Gotta pay to see profiles and message. Waaaay to expensive. Fling is like all inclusive.
Dd: Who makes the first move normally on Fling?
Flinger1: 99% of the first messages are sent by me. Probably 1 outta 20 will respond with something.
Dd: How many people do you regularly talk to on Fling?
Flinger1: I have about 10 to 12 girls that I chat with regularly out of that there is two that I will see from time to time. The rest live hundreds or thousands of miles away and theyre fun to chat with, swap pix, cam with or just chat about regular everyday stuff
Dd: How many people have you met in person from Fling?
Flinger1: 6 I think, yeah six
Dd: Do you actually have sex with the people you meet from Fling?
Flinger1: Not all of them but yes I have. Sometimes the person you meet is not the person you chatted with. Always meet in public just incase cuz ya never know who youre really meeting. We have drinks or whatever then see where things go.
Dd: Do you and or the other party take a careful approach to safe sex?
Fling1: Usually but sometimes ya get caught up in a moment and things are forgotten. Not smart I know but if that has happend then I got checked for stds at my docs office and im just inflicted with mild perversion but no real diseases. There was one girl who openly admitted to having herpes when we were just still chatting and I kindly bowed out
Dd: Have you met someone who was married and their spouses didnt know?
Flinger1: Yes my first encounter was with a married woman. I wasnt aware of that until after though.
Dd: Would you or did you have sex with them anyhow?
Flinger1: I did but I found out she was married after. Then she went on to tell me it was a regular thing for her to cheat and I stepped away from that one. Almost deleted my fling account after that meeting which was my first but decided not to.
Dd: Have you had a relationship with someone from Fling?
Flinger1: From fling nothing serious.
Dd: How quickly did you have sex with someone from fling (if you did) after talking to them?
Flinger1: It varies but its certainly not overnite. Theres a lot of playful messaging but no real meetings for quite a while usually. Probably at least a month in most cases.
Dd: What do you normally look for in a partner?
Flinger1: Sexy feet and a heart beat haaaaaaaaaaa! Fun outgoing personality like me. Im a very sexual person so Id prefer a girls sex drive be kinda like mine. The site is called fling isnt it? Willing to go out and do whatever or just chill and hang out. Sex is never mandatory in these meeting im just makin friends and if we do have sex then thats a bonus never expected. Physical? I like girls of all ethnicities hair colors eye color whatever. Just no skinny bag of bones. If i can see all of her ribs and spine then theres something wrong.
Dd: Are you looking for a long term relationship?
Flinger1: We all are. Youll find that person in a place you would never expect it.
Dd: Where else do you look for partners?
Flinger1: I go out to bars and clubs and movies just like a normal human does. Im not just sittin on my laptop transfixed on the fling page lookin to get laid. Fling just kinda cuts out all the bullshit of tryin to pick up a girl at a bar or wherever.
Dd: What do you think makes Fling different from the other sites?
Flinger1: Fling is a sex site. Youre probably not gonna find your soul mate there but you might find someone or some people that can fullfill some needs we all have without the the long drawn out dating stuff that eharmony and match gets you to. As far as the other sex sites fling has a great price for everything and no hidden stuff. One price and you get the whole run of the candy store
Dd: Would you recommend Fling to others?
Flinger1: It depends. its certanly not for everyone. Its a very niche site I think and some people would be very embarrased to be seen on there. For the rest of us? Rock on!
Dd: Anything else you would like to share?
Flinger1: Youre hott. You make me wanna touch myself.
This person is one of the first people I met on Fling. He contacted me and was charming, funny and polite. It is no wonder he does well on Fling. Not to mention he is pretty damn cute! He is also someone I am looking forward to meeting with real soon. So does Fling work? I would say so, look at all the wives Scott has fucked lol.

David and Victoria Beckham received a High Court apology from their former nanny today over her disclosure of private and confidential information about them following her resignation.
A judge in London heard that Abbie Gibson had now agreed to give "permanent undertakings of confidentiality" to the couple.
Their solicitor, Gerrard Tyrrell, told Mr Justice Eady: "Ms Gibson has also agreed to the withdrawal of her claim for constructive dismissal that she made against the claimants which was issued in the Employment Tribunal in August 2005."
Mr Tyrrell said Ms Gibson "has unconditionally apologised to David and Victoria Beckham and their family for breaching her duties of confidence".
He said today's proceedings against Ms Gibson resulted from the publication of a newspaper article in April 2005, captioned "Beckhams behind closed doors".
Mr Tyrrell said: "Between May 2003 and March 2005, Ms Gibson was employed as the nanny to David and Victoria Beckhams' children.
"After she resigned from their employment she gave an interview to the News of the World. In this interview she disclosed private and confidential information about the Beckhams and their family."
The News of the World used this information as the basis for the article published on April 24, 2005.
Mr Tyrrell said Ms Gibson "now accepts that she should not have breached her duties of confidence to David and Victoria Beckham and their children by speaking to the News of the World".
The solicitor also told the judge that, on July 10, 2005, The People newspaper published an article entitled Exclusive: Beckham's Hate Calls To Nanny, which falsely stated that David Beckham had made a number of insulting and threatening telephone calls to Ms Gibson.
He added: "The People have already publicly apologised for making this false and defamatory claim and have paid damages to David Beckham.
"Ms Gibson is happy to confirm that David Beckham did not at any stage make any such telephone calls to her.
"She apologises if anything she said to The People gave them a false impression that such calls had been made."
Niri Shanmuganathan, solicitor for Ms Gibson, told Mr Justice Eady: "Ms Gibson wishes to use this opportunity to confirm that Mr Beckham has not made any rude or threatening telephone calls to her."
She was "happy to give the undertakings of confidentiality" detailed in an order before the court.

OKAY, so some people need it less than others, but when it comes down to reality, everyone needs love. Even if just a little bit. Remember how your ex told you "I DON'T NEED YOU!!" ? Maybe that was true (hence why they're your ex) but they need SOMEONE whether it be mommy, daddy, their dog, or even a new significant other.
Without love, we really don't have anything to work for. We get an education because we want to be successful and we want our parents to be proud of us and because we want people to like us. Maybe some of us even work and advance financially because we love our unborn children?? In some form or the other we are living for love.
It's essential. Happy people are loved and know they're loved. Depressed people often feel like they don't matter to anyone or that people look down on them, aren't proud of them or just straight up don't love them.
If you're one of those people that don't feel like anyone loves you, needs you or even wants you, then guess what? THEY DON'T... because you have to love yourself first!! Remember the term "VIBE"? Yeah, whatever your attitude is about yourself is, other people pick up on!
So, however you go about getting some self respect, DO IT!!! Because if you don't it's really not going to get any easier for you!!! Don't worry about being hurt if you're pursuing a romantic relationship because before you even try doing THAT you have to love yourself FIRST!!! That way, no matter who dumps you or tells you they don't need you, you'll know something better... YOU LOVE YOU, YOU NEED YOU!!!
Normally I would say that putting yourself first all the time isn't really a good thing but in this case it's a MUST!!!
Go for a run, take a day off from work or school and go to a spa or go hang out with old friends that you KNOW FOR SURE care about you!!! More importantly, doing something that makes you HAPPY!!! Do something that makes you smile and something you're good at. Do it with people you can be yourself around or even go solo!!!
Soak up the sun, go shopping, just have FUN!!! Fun is part of life just like hard times are!!! Everyone goes under sometimes but that doesn't mean you can't come back up and catch a breather!!! Be PATIENT!!! If there is one thing that's true it's the saying "Nothing in life is free". Depending on your situation it could take seconds, days, months or even years to truly find happiness, but in the end you'll smile again.
Keep your chin up!!.

We're on a roll about cheating this week, so I decided to go with it and post a question that showed up in my mailbox a day or two ago; one that I hear a lot of variations of in the dating forums. Lynn asks: I have been dating this guy for about a year and a half. We have a really good relationship together. We have plans to move in together. But before we do that, I wanted to make sure he wouldn't cheat on me. So I created a fake Facebook profile and added him. We chatted for a bit then asked to meet. I spoke with him the same night he was about to meet the fake person I created. He told me that he was going to take a nap about a minute before he had the date with the fake girl. I went to the place he was going to meet her and waited for him. He showed up. I asked him what he was doing there and he said, "Oh well I knew it was you all along." I know he's lying to me. He's a great guy and everything I ever wanted in a guy. Should I forgive him? Can we look past this? Bonny's answer: There are so many things to address in this question, I'm not sure where to start - so let's begin with the obvious: if you cannot trust a man, then why on earth would you want to move in with him. And if you have to 'test' to see if he'll be faithful, how 'great' can the relationship really be? I've noticed a common fear among many young women these days: the fear that their partner will lie to them, betray them, and/or cheat on them. And guess what? It happens. A lot. But there are also a lot of men who have no issue with commitment, no issue with giving their word (and keeping it), and who won't give you any reason to question their loyalty to you. If those are the kinds of things that are important to you in a relationship, why wouldn't you seek out a man who can provide them, without having to test him using carefully created traps? I realize that none of what I'm saying here answers your question, but what you're asking isn't something I can answer for you. Why? Because (a) he's obviously not everything you want in a man (if you truly believe he was lying to you), and (b) the question isn't whether or not you can forgive him, but rather if he should forgive you. Because who wants to go through a relationship wondering whether or not they are being questioned constantly, or told they are a liar? Either you trust this man or you don't, and if you don't, its time to let you both move on. But what do you think readers? Should Lynn forgive her partner? Do you think what she did was called for, or 'right'.

Chris asks: I am newly separated after a 19 year marriage, and have started going out with a gal whom I have a great time with. She is funny, bright, outgoing, the works. My dilemma is that I don't want to get serious with this girl. I don't have any feelings for her but I think she is the sweetest person around. How do I draw the line about spending too much time with her because I'm not ready to get serious? My answer: Dating after separation or divorce is hard, even harder than dating after divorce in my opinion. Why? Because when you're still separated you're still working through your marriage; difficult to do even under the best of circumstances. I advise most folks in your situation to take a serious review of their reasons for dating, and whether or not they are ready to date again. But my point is somewhat moot as you've already started dating. Dating a woman who, in your own words, is fantastic but not for you. So then why are you dating her? Why not just be friends? My guess is that your dating relationship with this woman easy, comfortable, and it helps with some of the loneliness you're feeling after separation. Understandable, considering. At the same time, you can't just think about your own needs here, and you have to realize this because you're already asking the question: how do you make this relationship into something that you need, rather than what she wants? How do you ensure she doesn't get attached, because you aren't and likely won't? To me, the answer seems simple. If you don't want to get serious with this woman, don't. Let her know where you're at and how you feel, but that if she's wanting something more you won't be able to provide it to her. The honorable thing to do - especially if she's as wonderful as you say she is - is to let her go, so she can find someone who can give her the kind of relationship she wants. Now, if she wants what you have to offer - no feelings whatsoever but a 'good time' - great. But I'll hazard she's wanting something more or you wouldn't be asking the question. But what do you think, readers? Do you agree with me, or do you think Chris should try a completely different tactic? Have you been in a similar situation? What did you do.

Edward, Prince of Wales (15 June 1330 – 8 June 1376) was called Edward of Woodstock in his early life, after his birthplace, and has, more recently, been popularly known as The Black Prince. He was the eldest son of King Edward III of England and Philippa of Hainault, and father to King Richard II of England. Edward, an exceptional military leader and popular during his life, died one year before his father and thus never ruled as king (becoming the first English Prince of Wales to suffer that fate). The throne passed instead to his son Richard, a minor, upon the death of Edward III.
Early life
Edward was born on 15 June 1330 at Woodstock Palace in Oxfordshire. Edward was created Earl of Chester in 1333, Duke of Cornwall in 1337 (the first creation of an English duke) and finally invested as Prince of Wales in 1343. In England Edward served as a symbolic regent for periods in 1339, 1340, and 1342 while Edward III was on campaign. He was expected to attend all council meetings, and he performed the negotiations with the papacy about the war in 1337.
Edward had been raised with his cousin Joan, The Fair Maid of Kent.[1] Edward gained Innocent VI's papal permission and absolution for this marriage to a blood-relative (as had Edward III when marrying Philippa of Hainaut, being her second cousin) and married Joan in 10 October 1361 at Windsor Castle, prompting some controversy, mainly because of Joan's chequered marital history and the fact that marriage to an Englishwoman wasted an opportunity to form an alliance with a foreign power.
When in England, Edward's chief residence was at Wallingford Castle in Berkshire (now Oxfordshire).
He served as the king's representative in Aquitaine, where he and Joan kept a court which was considered among the most brilliant of the time. It was the resort of exiled kings, like James of Mallorca and Pedro of Castile.
Pedro, thrust from his throne by his illegitimate brother, Henry of Trastámara, offered Edward the lordship of Biscay in 1367, in return for the Black Prince's aid in recovering his throne. Edward was successful in the Battle of Nájera in which he soundly defeated the combined French and Spanish forces led by Bertrand du Guesclin.
During this period, he fathered two sons: Edward (27 January 1365 – 1372), who died at the age of 6; and Richard, born in 1367 and often called Richard of Bordeaux for his place of birth, who would later rule as Richard II of England. He had at least two illegitimate sons, both born before his marriage: Sir Roger Clarendon and Sir John Sounder.[2]
The Black Prince returned to England in January 1371 and died a few years later after a long wasting illness that may have been cancer.
Edward lived in a century of decline for the knightly ideal of chivalry. The formation of the Order of the Garter, an English royal order of which Edward was a founding member, signified a shift towards patriotism and away from the crusader mentality that characterized England in the previous two centuries. Edward's stance in this evolution is seemingly somewhat divided. Edward displayed obedience to typical chivalric obligations through his pious contributions to Canterbury Cathedral throughout his life.
On one hand, after capturing John the Good, king of France, and his youngest son at Poitiers, he treated them with great respect, at one point giving John leave to return home, and reportedly praying with John at Canterbury Cathedral. Notably, he also allowed a day for preparations before the Battle of Poitiers so that the two sides could discuss the coming battle with one another, and so that the Cardinal of Perigord could plead for peace. Though not agreeing with knightly charges on the battlefield, he also was devoted to tournament jousting.
On the other hand, his chivalric tendencies were overridden by pragmatism on many occasions. The Black Prince's repeated use of the chevauchée strategy (burning and pillaging towns and farms) was not in keeping with contemporary notions of chivalry, but it was quite effective in accomplishing the goals of his campaigns and weakening the unity and economy of France. On the battlefield, pragmatism over chivalry is also demonstrated via the massed use of infantry strongholds, dismounted men at arms, longbowmen, and flank attacks (a revolutionary practice in such a chivalric age). Moreover, he was exceptionally harsh toward and contemptuous of lower classes in society, as indicated by the heavy taxes he levied as Prince of Aquitaine and by the massacres he perpetrated at Limoges and Caen. Edward's behaviour was typical of an increasing number of English knights and nobles during the late Middle Ages who paid less and less attention to the high ideal of chivalry, which would soon influence other countries.
The 1345 Flanders Campaign on the Northern Front, which was of little significance and ended after three weeks when one of Edward's allies was murdered.
The Crécy Campaign on the Northern Front, which crippled the French army for 10 years, allowing the siege of Calais to occur with little conventional resistance before the plague set in. Even when France's army did recover, the forces they deployed were about a quarter of that deployed at Crecy (as shown at Poitiers). Normandy came virtually under English control, but a decision was made to focus on northern France, leaving Normandy under the control of England's vassal allies instead.
The Siege of Calais on the Northern Front, during which the inhabitants suffered worst and were reduced to eating dogs and rats.[3] The siege gave the English personal and vassal control over northern France before the temporary peace due to the Black Death.
The Calais counter-offensive on the Northern Front, after which Calais remained in English hands.
Les Espagnols sur Mer or the Battle of Winchelsea on the English Channel Front, which was a Pyrrhic victory of little significance beyond preventing Spanish raids on Essex.
The Great Raid of 1355 on the Aquitaine–Languedoc Front, which crippled southern France economically, and provoked resentment of the French throne among French peasantry. The raid also 'cushioned' the area for conquest, opened up alliances with neighbours in Aquitaine of which that with Charles the Bad of Navarre is most notable, and caused many regions to move towards autonomy from France, as France was not as united as England.
The Aquitaine Conquests on the Aquitaine Front, which brought much firmer control in Aquitaine, much land for resources and many people to fight for Edward.
The Poitiers Campaign on the Aquitaine-Loire Front, which crippled the French Army for the next 13 years, causing the anarchy and chaos which would inevitably cause the Treaty of Bretigney to be signed in 1360. Following this campaign, there was no French Army leader, there were challenges towards Charles the Wise, and more aristocrats were killed at Crécy and Poitiers than those lost to the Black Death.
The Reims Campaign, following which peace was finally achieved with the Treaty of Bretigny. But, on the same terms, England was left with about a third of France rather than a little under half which they would have received through the Treaty of London. This is due to the failure to take Reims which led to the need for a safe passage out of France. As a result, a lesser treaty was agreed to and Edward III was obliged to drop his claims to the French throne. France was still forced to pay a huge ransom of around four times France's gross annual domestic product for John the Good. The ransom paid was, however, a little short of that demanded by the English, and John the Good was not returned to the French. Thus, this campaign yielded mixed results, but was mostly positive for Edward. One must also remember Edward III never actually dropped his claim to the throne, and that about half of France was controlled by the English anyway through many vassals.
The Najera Campaign on the Castilian Front, during which Pedro the Cruel was temporarily saved from a coup, thus confirming Castilian Spanish dedication to the Prince's cause. Later, however, Pedro was murdered. As a result of Pedro's murder, the money the prince put into the war effort became pointless, and Edward was effectively bankrupt. This forced heavy taxes to be levied in Aquitaine to relieve Edward's financial troubles, leading to a vicious cycle of resentment in Aquitaine and vicious repression of this resentment by Edward. Charles the Wise, king of France, was able to take advantage of the resentment against Edward in Aquitaine. However, the prince temporarily became the Lord of Biscay.
The Siege of Limoges in 1370 on the Aquitaine Front, after which the Black Prince was obliged to leave his post for his sickness and financial issues, but also because of the cruelty of the siege, which saw the massacre of some 3,000 residents according to the chronicler Froissart. Without the Prince, the English war effort against Charles the Wise and Bertrand Du Guesclin was doomed. The Prince's brother John of Gaunt was not interested with the war in France, being more interested in the war of succession in Spain.
King Edward III and the prince sail from Sandwich with 400 ships, carrying 4,000 men at arms and 10,000 archers for France, but after six weeks of bad weather and being blown off course they are driven back to England.
He requested to be buried in the crypt of Canterbury Cathedral rather than next to the shrine, and a chapel was prepared there as a chantry for him and his wife Joan (this is now the French Protestant Chapel, and contains ceiling bosses of her face and of their coats of arms). However, this was overruled after his death and he was buried on the south side of the shrine of Thomas Becket behind the quire. His tomb consists of a bronze effigy beneath a tester depicting the Holy Trinity, with his heraldic achievements hung over the tester. The achievements have now been replaced by replicas, though the originals can still be seen nearby, and the tester was restored in 2006.
Although Edward is almost always now called the Black Prince, there is no record of this name being used during his lifetime. He was instead known as Edward of Woodstock, after his place of birth. The Black Prince sobriquet is first found in writing in Richard Grafton's Chronicle of England (1568). [4] Its origin is uncertain; it is usually considered to be derived from an ornate black cuirass presented to the young prince by Edward III at the Battle of Crécy.
In fact, this nickname comes more than probably from his shield of peace, his coat of arms used during tournaments, which is represented around his effigy at Canterbury. This coat of arms is black with three white ostrich feathers.
It is possible that the name was first coined by French chroniclers in reference to the ruinous military defeats he had inflicted on France or his cruelty in these. Also possible is the idea that Edward garnered the nickname from his explosive temper; the legendary Angevin temper being associated with his family's line since Geoffrey d'Anjou.

Early life
Edward was born on 15 June 1330 at Woodstock Palace in Oxfordshire.
Sunday, Taylor and I went snowboarding @ Sundance. It was a beautiful sunny day. We had lots of fun but I didn't do too hot. Let me just tell ya that I completely suck at getting off of the lifts. The first time I got off, I fell HARD on my left butt cheek aka my ischium. My leg tingled for a little bit. That didn't start off my day too well but I got back up and kept trying. I do okay and then i get going fast. It scares me so I slow down. I pretty much rode my board horizontally every time. My knees definitely hurt. We tried going on another trail and ended up in BLACK zones. There was a trail that would take you around all of them but it was flat. I kept falling so i finally said screw it!!! I took my board off and walked until it got steeper so I could have momentum. But I did have fun. We ate some good chili and it was nice to get away for a day. The sun was out, wind felt good, and it was just so pretty up there. Taylor, thank you for being so patient with me. He could have gone about 5x as many runs as we did because he was waiting for me. He is good at it. I love you babe.

I was a very happy person. My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me-her beautiful younger sister.
My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight mini-skirts, and generally was braless. She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a pleasant view of her private parts. It had to be deliberate. She never did it when she was near anyone else.
One day her sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldnt overcome. She told me that she wanted to make love to me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.
Well, I was in total shock, and couldnt say a word. She said, m going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me. I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. When she reached the top she pulled off her panties and threw them down the stairs at me.
I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car. Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside all clapping! With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said, We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldnt ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family!
And the moral of this story is: Always keep your condoms in your car.

A reader asks: "I have been seeing my current girlfriend for about 6 months, and everything is going great except for one big issue: guy friends. She keeps in touch with a lot of her ex-boyfriends, hook-ups, and guy friends who have feelings for her. One of them in particular who she dated right before we met, makes passes at her and sends her flirtatious text messages. A couple of them openly admit they're in love with her. We've gotten in several big fights about it, and whenever we do, she insists that I'm the only one she loves and wants to be with. She says they're only guy friends and that I'm being overly jealous. She also brings them up a lot in conversation. It's gotten to the point that I get paranoid that's she's cheating on me and messaging these guys, etc. I don't know what to do because otherwise I'm crazy about her. Do I break up what might be a great relationship over some jealousy issues? Do I try to ignore the problem? Do I ask her to break off her friendships?" What say you, readers.

I have this sort of plan which I wrote and I'll refer to it every now and then. I'm not going to stick to it rigidly though.
The Current: Happiness requires change
This is the last item on my draft and I thought I'd pop a word in seeing as it's Monday night and thoughts are fresh in my head.
I do have many other thoughts but this blog is specifically about my sexuality - It's not all of me :)
I suppose there is balance in everything, as hubby's interest in things sexual has waned, JM's has increased. I was chatting to an online friend about him and its difficult to pin down why it is, but since this year started JM has been a walking advertisement for horny. I think its because he turns 40 this year and I think for men that poses a challenge to their virility so they actively go out to prove they are still young. Because of business we got to spend some time last week and it was INCREDIBLE.
I think irrespective of your culture and whether you fool around or not, every woman wants to feel sexy and wanted. I get that when JM looks at me, its a look of total captivation. We've been involved a while and I still get that look that makes me slightly uneasy and catch my breath suddenly and sometimes embarassingly. I know what that look means :) I'm very happy with where we are in our relationship.
Then of course theres AM. He's like a ride in a Ferrari - Blows your mind away but you know its a limited guilty pleasure. He is hot and he knows it. A combination of a learned sensitivity and a sense of mystery.
I saw AM on Saturday. Heres a recap (I'm not sure if these will interest people or I'm just being crass and I will base more on feedback)
I got there around 1.30pm, he was freshly showered and in this really nice baggy linen pants - very nice pants lol. I like that he is so into looking good. I was in jeans and a white Nike top, under dressed as usual.
He's a good kisser, my only sort-of regret is that I know he's good because of practice and sometimes I'd prefer him more natural even it was a little clumsy. I sat in the lounge while he went to get drinks and the next thing I know he's standing in front of me naked. Its no longer the drink I want in my mouth. AM knows I love doing it and he lets me go to it. After 10 minutes I'm rewarded :)
We lazed a bit after and I freshened a bit, pulled the skin on his dick a lot :) and then he led me, yes led me, to the altar, I mean bedroom.
Thereafter followed an intense session. AM is like an athlete with sex. Its like he has studied it and crafted himself to be good at it. And somehow I feel that I am privileged to be a part of this and obligated to help him reach whatever sexual epoch he's striving for (Has anyone else ever experienced this?).
Its intense, and he doesn't hold back.
I left around 4.30pm, showered, light headed and slightly bow legged :). I filled a trolley at Woolies quickly and headed home. No issues back at the farm. Did I remember to buy milk? - Yeah right lol
All in all a good Saturday.
JM and AM, I think I'm going to slow down and just keep things simple, especially with the increased mojo implant JM has had. AM leaves in June anyway.
However and here's my big problem - I never stay happy if things stay the same. I know I am right now, but change has its own motivation.
More about this in the week - If I remember.

After the awful rain on Friday and the freezing wind on Saturday, I was not warm !!
Sunday was bright and cool, just perfect . We were not in a hurry but a cab was waiting right out front so we took it down to Soho .
Bond No9 was quiet, I headed straight for the coffee pot and croissants . Visited with some friends from Italy trip ( Hi Dora, Tammy ), then left before the presentations . (Got the gift bag anyway, one of the SA remembered me cuz I gave him some Baghari pure parfum last fall ) .
About a dozen bonbon samps and a purse spray of Lexington Ave . Comment if you love it...I'll send it to you !!
I hurried over to Le Labo who was for the first time GIVING a 5ml spray vial deluxe of the new OUD 27 (30 people only )...smells like bug spray but whatever ( it has grown on me since I wrote that snarky comment ). It was free and I got it . LOL . Sniffed all the other Labo scents...enjoyed them more this time . They wouldn't let Anne spray the Santal on skin so we got mad and left before I could buy the Labdanum18 and I want it so bad...must order from Perfumed Court a decant at least .
Did I mention I liked the Labdanum 18 ?
*GRIN *
Then we went to Bloomies where for the first year we got a goodie bag of perfume samps from them, mostly Jo Malone, but some other mainstreams . I found a discontinued NARS lip color I love so bought .
Then went to LAFCO for my Melograno products 20% off, shampoo and soaps and the mints .
We hung with Jon and the 2Karens awhile, the place was empty and we were talking about Italy...
Then it was time for lunch already....I snuck across to L'Artisan to sniff Drole de Rose real quick - meh - they weren't handing out samples .
The walk to Aedes was long, we made it but not very enthusiastically...I sniffed all the Amouage and loved them,
Penhaligon's Elixir was already sold out so I don't even remember it, didn't want to know ! .
No word on Le Sac De Ma Mere at all . Lemming my HG leather far too long . Lancome Cuir doesn't come close...it's sour .
Lemming Prada Iris parfum . So velvety .
Rushed to the hotel to pick up my bag and off to the airport again....au revior, NYC !!!
DID NOT BUY ONE FULL BOTTLE .
What is wrong with me .

I thought I'd start a post called "Estate Sale Friday" and share some of my adventures of searching for antiques at estate sales.
Going to estate sales is not as glamorous as one may think. In fact, it's quite exhausting as many of you know. Getting up at the crack of dawn to stand in line, rain or shine. Some camp out overnight in their cars to be first in line in the morning. I don't know about other cities, but the antique dealers here in San Francisco (yes, you guys) can be pretty competitive, ie; pushing and shoving people out of the way, ripping up sign-up sheets that we added our names to hours earlier, and more horrific stories.
I have been doing this for many years and have some "whopper" estate sale stories. I look forward to sharing them on this blog.

Heathers -like world known as high school so suffice it to say that most teens will go the extra mile (and spend the extra bucks) to ensure balanced and clear skin.
Dermalogicas new Clean Start line targets adolescent skin, unclogging pores and eliminating acne without using the harsh chemicals found in other anti-acne products (these chemicals can over dry the skin and eventually lead to more breakouts). The Clean Start line, which consists of eight products, contains no artificial fragrances or dyes, no mineral oils and no S.D. alcohol so as to minimize potential irritants. The packaging, meanwhile, is bold and colorful, so as to convey a youthful zest.
The eight products in the line are: Wash Off, a foaming facial cleanser containing salicylic acid to fight breakouts and bacteria, oil-controlling botanical extracts, and energizing orange peel; All Over Clear, a toner containing oil-controlling sesame seed extract and soothing licorice, burdock and argan extracts, which you can spritz over your face when you need to control shine; Ready, Set, Scrub!, an exfoliating clay mask containing exfoliating Silica; Welcome Matte SPF15, a lightweight lotion with sunscreen protection; Brighten Up SPF 15, a shimmering, tinted moisturizer that makes your skin glow (without ever looking oily or greasy); Bedtime for Breakouts, a super-powered acne treatment meant for overnight use that treats breakouts with salicylic acid while keeping any potential redness at bay through the usage f cooling cucumber and soothing licorice extracts; Hit the Spot, a highly effective acne spot treatment containing benzoyl peroxide (which kills acne-causing bacteria with a dose of oxygen), soothing plant extracts and purifying zinc sulfate; and Smart Mouth Lip Shine, a lip moisturizer containing vitamin E, cocoa seed butter and shea butter.
Now, I had a trusty pair of very fashionable and persnickety teens try on these products, and the girls were over the moon — particularly over the Hit the Spot treatment, which they said zapped away pimples in a matter of hours, and the All Over Clear, which they said really kept their skin refreshed throughout the day. I myself tried the Hit the Spot treatment and was thrilled to see how effective it was (and unlike certain drugstore brands, it didnt make my skin red or leave a dry patch).
So, whether you yourself have temperamental skin or you have a relative (daughter, little cousin, niece, etc.) who does, you can turn to Dermalogicas Clean Start for a fresh start of your own.
Dermalogica Clean Start Wash Off, $20 for 6 oz.; Dermalogica Clean Start All Over Clear, $18 for 4 oz.; Dermalogica Ready, Set, Scrub!, $21 for 2.5 oz.; Welcome Matte SPF15, $24 for 2 oz; Dermalogica Clean Start Brighten Up SPF15, $24 for 2 oz.;Dermalogica Clean Start Bedtime for Breakouts, $22 for 2 oz.; Dermalogica Clean Start Hit the Spot, $22 for 0.30 oz.; Dermalogica Clean Start Smart Mouth Lip Shine, $16 for 0.30 oz.

Jaime Lowe: Digging for Dirt: The Life and Death of ODB
When you first start reading this book (as early as the prologue), you think, 'Wow, finally! Someone who wants to present an accurate, well-rounded portrait of ODB as a man and an artist rather than turn him into another punchline.' Indeed, Jamie Lowe's ode to the late Wu-Tang member gets off to a poetic start, and her effervescent writing style comes across as passionate and intense. But, as her long-winded fan letter continues (that is, in essence, what the book constitutes) her adulatory prose turns absurd. At one point she goes as far as to compare him to Billie Holiday (I mean, come on!). Lowe claims ODB was the heart of the Wu-Tang Clan, the most talented and pivotal member — and can you really agree? Sure, ODB brought an unpredictability to the group and an unedited lyrical candor, but they ALL brought something to the table — and, really, Method Man was the first to land a solo deal and pop off. And it doesn't end there: she goes on and on and on about how Dirt just liked to push the boundaries, how he embraced freedom, how he used his dysfunction as performance art (yes, that's her explanation for him doing crazy stuff like arriving in a limo, MTV cameras in tow, to the food stamps office a week before the release of his solo album). The more she writes, the more you can't help but ask yourself: what made THIS hipster white girl, someone who had (by her own admission) an outsider's view of hip-hop culture, take an interest in ODB? I couldn't help but infer that Lowe herself fetishized the ghetto isht that he did, that she thought his wild card ways (many of which were the result of a serious mental illness) were "cool," that she wanted her very own black minstrel to watch. The whole book left a bad taste in my mouth. It's abundantly clear that she spent less than five hours total with ODB, then studied lyrics and liner notes, interviewed a few people (many of whom have absolutely no real connection to Dirt), scrapped everything together, added a few heaps of bullcrap and churned out a book. How can someone with such a limited knowledge of the actual person and a non-existent connection to the culture (and I mean beyond the music... hip-hop is a lifestyle, and I really wish middle-class and wealthy white kids would stop trying to perpetrate like they can understand it or live it) write a biography? Talk about a false sense of entitlement! Honestly, if you're an ODB fan, there's no need to pick this up. And as for Lowe, she's a great writer — but maybe she needs to stick to something she knows a little better like, say, Kurt Cobain.
