Leave it to Pamela Anderson to take the largest annual art show in the United States, the Art Basel Miami, and turn it into a side show.  The former Playmate shows up sporting heels, a long t-shirt, a striped wool hat, and what can only be bikini bottoms.  She also looked a bit worse for wear as she crawled on tables, kissed art and artists, and walked around saying she wanted to buy something but she was broke.  She hung out for a few minutes and left so she was either paid to make an appearance or she thought she could score some free drinks.

Once the highest-paid TV actress, earnings $13 million for her role on Greys Anatomy and an Emmy, Katherine Heigl has now been chosen as the #5 highest-paid actress in Hollywood on the Hollywood Reporters Women in Entertainment: Power 100 list.
She comes after Angelina Jolie (No. 1), Julia Roberts (No. 2), Reese Witherspoon (No. 3) and Cameron Diaz (No. 4).
Naming Katherine Heigl the fifth highest-paid actress in Hollywood, is what blurs the authenticity of this list. Before her feature debut in 2007 knocked up she stared in the lowest-grossing film in history Zyzzyx Road with total box-office earnings of US$30 (it cost $2.5 million to make the movie). Her Greys Anatomys character was also on the verge of being killed off.
I totally dont get the whole thing. She actually knocked off Naomi Watts, Nicol Kidman, and Halle Berry. They have more than a couple of great movies, way more than her.
Next year the Hollywood Reporter may consider having their list reviewed, or just forget about publishing any.
In 2007 when Heigl won Emmy, she said: This is my dream come true. Ive been doing this for 17 years and people dont count cause I started as a kid, but I counted because Ive worked my ass off.
Apparently her statement did work.

Six teenagers, including Brianna Broitzman and Ashton Larson, were charged with abusing and sexually humiliating residents of the nursing home they worked for. Read the rest of the story below.


Brianna Broitzman and Ashton Larson, along with four other teen girls, were charged with elder abuse for physical harming and sexually humiliating seven seniors that lived in the nursing home the six girls worked for. All six teens were officially charged in court on December 2, although four of the girls were only identified by initials and birthdays because they were minors at the time the crimes were committed. According to the complaints filed with the court in Albert Lea, a small city in southern Minnesota, the girls spat on, spanked, improperly touched, and tormented the residents of the Good Samaritan Society nursing home. Some of the girls charged only witnessed the events, but apparently they all laughed together about them during school.
Brianna Broitzman, charged with 11 criminal counts, allegedly poked one residents breasts, spit into the mouth of another, and put her bare butt in the face of a third resident. Ashton Larson, charged with 10 criminal counts, once inserted her finger into a residents rectum, spit water on another vulnerable adult, and would deliberately bathe a resident in a rough manner so the elderly man would get an erection. Both girls were charged with fifth-degree assault, abuse of a vulnerable adult by a caregiver, abuse of a vulnerable adult with sexual contact, disorderly conduct and failing to report suspected maltreatment, all of which are gross misdemeanors and carry a maximum penalty of a year in jail and a $3,000 fine for each count.

This celebrity made quite an impact on Celebrity Rehab. He was a real challenge for Dr Drew. He and his girlfriend were at a celebrity event when they happened to meet a man and his wife who were huge fans of the rehabbed performer. The couples started chatting and our rehab guy was so flattered that he invited the pair over for dinner. When the admiring couple arrived at the celebrity's house they were startled to see large nude photos of the girlfriend hanging on the walls. President-elect Barack Obama won the Democratic nomination with the enthusiastic support of the left wing of his party, fueled by his vehement opposition to the decision to invade Iraq and by one of the most liberal voting records in the Senate.

Now, his reported selections for two of the major positions in his cabinet Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton as secretary of state and Timothy F. Geithner as secretary of the Treasury suggest that Mr. Obama is planning to govern from the center-right of his party, surrounding himself with pragmatists rather than ideologues.

The choices are as revealing of the new president as they are of his appointees and suggest that, from its first days, an Obama White House will brim with big personalities and far more spirited debate than occurred among the largely like-minded advisers who populated President Bushs first term.

But the names racing through the ether in Washington about the choices to follow also suggest that Mr. Obama continues to place a premium on deep experience. He is widely reported to be considering asking Mr. Bushs defense secretary, Robert M. Gates, to stay on for a year; and he is thinking about Gen. James L. Jones, the former NATO commander and Marine Corps commandant, for national security adviser, and placing Lawrence H. Summers, the former Treasury secretary whom Mr. Obama considered putting back in his old post, inside the White House as a senior economic adviser.

This is the violin model: Hold power with the left hand, and play the music with your right, David J. Rothkopf, a former Clinton official who wrote a history of the National Security Council, said on Friday, as news of Mrs. Clintons and Mr. Geithners appointments leaked. s teaching us something about Obama: while he wants to bring new ideas to the game, he is working from the center space of American foreign policy.

The reason, several of Mr. Obamas transition team members say, is that they believe that the new administration will have no time for a learning curve. With the country facing a deep recession or worse, global market turmoil, chaos in Pakistan and a worsening war in Afghanistan, s going to be no time for experimentation, a member of the Obama foreign policy team said.

That explains Mr. Obamas first selection: Rahm Emanuel, another centrist Democrat and former member of the Clinton White House, as his chief of staff.

In some ways, the choices made so far are reminiscent of the way the last senator to be elected president, John F. Kennedy, chose a cabinet. As president-elect, Kennedy soon picked three top officials significantly more conservative than he was: Dean Rusk as secretary of state, Robert S. McNamara as secretary of defense and C. Douglas Dillon, a Republican, as secretary of the Treasury. They helped him navigate the Cuban missile crisis, but also got him bogged down in Vietnam.

Of all the choices Mr. Obama has made so far, it is the selection of Mrs. Clinton that appears the biggest gamble, in part because she has never had to engage in the give-and-take of high-stakes diplomacy, and in part because no one really knows how she will mesh with the Obama White House.

In her discussion with the president-elect, several members of his transition team said, Mrs. Clinton expressed no doubt that she could be a loyal member of the Obama team though she was reportedly deeply conflicted about giving up her Senate seat and the independent power base it afforded her.

During the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination, Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton went out of their way to point out their foreign policy differences, with Mrs. Clinton portraying herself as a hawkish Democrat and defending her decision to vote in favor of the 2002 resolution that Mr. Bush later considered an authorization to use military force against Saddam Hussein. (Later, she said she fully expected Mr. Bush to use diplomacy first and was shocked that he did not.)

Now the question is less one of ideological differences than whether a Clinton State Department could become something like Colin L. Powells: an alternative, though weak, power center that made little secret of its differences with the White House.

Anyone who tells you they really know how this is going to work out, one senior transition official said Thursday, is telling less than the truth.

If Mrs. Clinton is taken from the Team of Rivals model, Mr. Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, is from the Team of Neutrals.

Mr. Geithner grew up in Asia in Tokyo, New Delhi and Bangkok and keeps his ego well in check. He asks a lot of questions, but does not have Mr. Summerss overwhelming some say overbearing personality.

He clicked with Obama, one outside adviser said. If you think about it, their sort of cool, distant styles are alike.

Friday is Children In Need night, and McFly have recorded the official double A-side single "Do Ya/ Stay With Me" for the charity.
The boys will appear on the show performing both tracks, opening the show at 7pm with a live performance of "Stay With Me" and then flying by helicopter at their own expense from London to Birmingham to continue their Radio:ACTIVE UK tour. They'll then fly back to London with a BBC film crew in tow to perform "Do Ya" live in the show! Sounds kind of exhausting, right?

First, while filming their reality television show for VH1, Terry (a.k.a. Hulk) and Linda obsess over daughter Brooke's singing career and whether or not teenage guys are getting in her pants or not. Meanwhile, they let Nick, their punk-ass younger child, do pretty much whatever the hell he wants. This includes the time when he was 15 and took Dad's Toyota Supra out for a joy ride and was escorted back home by the police. So not only was he driving without a license, the little bitch was driving recklessly or at least fast enough to warrant attention from the cops. Good parents would see this as a sign, but the Hogans were still too busy whoring out their daughter to various record companies to give a shit.

Underwood tells TV Guide regarding the Presidential Election that “there is someone I do support, but I don’t support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It’s saying that the American public isn’t smart enough to make their own decisions, I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to.
